I am so happy I decided to take things slow in Feb, because I got to spend a lot of time with her the last couple of weeks. We went on walks, took trips into town, and spoiled her with lots of attention and treats. I couldn’t have asked for a better send-off for my first dog!! ⭐️

Some of you already know this, but on Feb 10 my dog River passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. She was 10.5 years old, living a dream doggie life on 8 acres with a loving family.

She didn’t suffer and I was there with her, which I take comfort in, but she left a void in our lives and routine which is hard to quantify. We miss her.
