Like the Snez quests ARE DARK, the lighthouse keepers, the Chasm, Enkonomiya, Desert quests in Sumeru, etc so I understand the need of humor because sometimes the game is scary but sometimes it’s like they babyify it too much after the darkness. Like I SAW that don’t gaslight

So much of Genshin actually gets dark (Fontaine, anytime Dainslef shows up, Nod Krai) & I understand they add in random fluff to lighten it up but sometimes it’s actually jarring like Masquerade of the Guilty then you go to Natlan to go play with dinosaurs and see motorcycles.
