Your time on this earth is passing away far quicker than you think. You will soon stand before the Creator of the universe to give an account.
Prepare your soul today by repenting trusting in Jesus alone.
Four clear warnings from Scripture:
• Life on earth is brief (James 4:14)
• Death is certain for all (Heb. 9:27)
• God will judge every deed (Eccl. 12:14)
• Only Jesus can save your soul (Acts 4:12)
Until we learn to be humble, some of us will not see the glory of God. We think of ourselves as big and good, yet in God’s sight, we’re nothing. Bro., sis., humble yourself!
I’ve read the Bible cover to cover, and I haven’t seen a single example where the majority was right or where the majority escaped God’s judgment. If you think being in the majority means you’re safe from error or guaranteed heaven, read the examples in Scripture. The remnant is going with Jesus, and the remnant has never been the majority.
A day is fast approaching where, your church wouldn't matter, your titles wouldn't count, achievements, your money will be useless, beauty, strength and all earthly glory will be trash. In during those days, only your faith, hope and love for God will stand. The day of our LORD!
Christians, remember that your true citizenship is in Heaven. We are merely pilgrims passing through this broken world.
Keep your heart anchored in the promises of God.
If I were to counsel the average young Christian today, I will say just 3 things
1. Go back to your BIBLE. Read. Study. Obey.
2. Go back to PRAYER. Ask. Seek. Knock.
3. Go back to CHURCH. Belong. Submit. Serve.
If you think you have JESUS, know Jesus, and love Jesus, and lack any of these THREE.
You are DECEIVED.
You won't be partying with friends in Hell.
You'll be weeping, gnashing your teeth in agony, as you consciously burn alive forever (Rev. 14:11; Matt. 13:42; etc.).
Yet God is so merciful, he offers eternal paradise in Heaven for anyone who repents and trusts in Jesus.
Everyone has two choices: pay for your own sins in Hell forever, or accept the payment Jesus made on your behalf.
There's no other option.
Repent and trust in Jesus today.
Sin promises pleasure but it only delivers death and misery. Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest longings of your soul. Run away from evil and seek his holy presence.
No matter how mature you are, Christian living is all about the basics:
• Read your Bible regularly
• Talk to God in prayer
• Fight against temptation
• Gather with the saints
• Live in obedience
• Follow Jesus
Walking with Christ requires denying yourself and picking up your cross daily. It will cost you your worldly pride and selfish comfort. But what you gain in Jesus is worth far more.
I counted the cost. He was worth all of it. And He will be for you too.
I won’t pretend it was free.
Following Jesus cost me things I can’t get back. Family relationships. Community. Safety.
The future that was handed to me.
I counted every bit of that cost.
I’m not naive about what it means to walk this road.
And I would pay it ten thousand times over.
Because what I gained cannot be compared to what I lost.
“I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.” Philippians 3:8.
Rubbish is how Paul described everything he gave up.
Not because those things had no value, but because Christ is worth so infinitely more that everything else
looks like nothing beside Him.
To the Muslim afraid of the cost: it’s real. I won’t lie to you.
But on the other side of the cost is a Father who calls you His own, a Savior who calls you brother, and a home that can never be taken away.
“Whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 16:25.
I lost a lot.
I found everything.
And He is worth all of it.
Every bit. He will be for you too.
