iPhone 18 Pro speaker buzzing — replacing the speaker didn’t fix it
My iPhone 18 Pro has an annoying rattling/buzzing sound at higher volumes. I checked demo units at the Apple Store and heard the same issue.
Apple replaced the speaker in mine, but the problem is still there. Same buzzing, same distortion.
It’s been over a month since launch. After hearing it on demo units and getting no improvement from a speaker replacement, I’m having a hard time believing this is just a faulty speaker in my particular phone.
Has anyone actually had this fixed? Not just passed diagnostics or been told to wait for an update, but had the buzzing go away?
FSD 14.3 Lite. New version, same old problems.
A few days in on my Intel Model 3. Waited forever, never received 14.2 Lite, went straight to 14.3 Lite.
Here’s the most confusing behavior: my right turn is at the SECOND intersection. The car is already signaling right while waiting at the FIRST red light.
What is everyone around me supposed to think?
Saw this on 12.6.4, 14.0 Lite and 14.1. Still here.
Unprotected left turns? Still hesitant. Still overly conservative.
On the freeway? Still randomly moves into the HOV lane when I’m the only person in the car.
Parking seems slightly better at choosing spaces and recognizing parking lines. Beyond that, no noticeable driving improvements for me so far.
Credit where it’s due: Emergency Drive Away is a welcome addition. Supercharger Site Maps coming to Intel is good too.
My Model 3 has matrix headlights, and Dynamic Headlight Leveling appears in my release notes. I’m looking forward to it, but haven’t found a separate setting or noticed a difference yet. Anyone actually seeing it work?
And please, give older cars a cabin-camera retrofit option.
Mine has no infrared illumination, so at night I’m still repeatedly applying steering-wheel torque to satisfy the nags. Legacy S/X owners without cabin cameras need an upgrade path too.

Before making the Roadster fly, can we let my car see that I’m watching the road?
