Today’s threat of attack by nuclear weapons has never been more serious.
The U.S. and nuclear powers must reverse direction, get back to negotiations and move towards joining the Treaty on the Prohibition on Nuclear Weapons.
@FloGrappling, hey....can you guys get your shit together and provide replays for events on the app on AppleTV?
For the money I'm paying, I'd like to be able to watch it BEFORE it shows up for fucking free on YouTube.
Thanks!
@HishamAidi@thenation Lol….the Dems have stated they’re not having one. So, before you start suggesting what Dr. West ought to do, perhaps you should suggest that the Dems open up the primary process with a commitment to FAIRNESS and IMPARTIALITY as the cornerstones.
@Liv_Boeree@CarlRobichaud and we’re actually working on things like sole authority and no first use. I’d be elated to talk about working together! We’re a project of the Union of Concerned Scientists and Physicians for Social Responsibility...
@Liv_Boeree@CarlRobichaud you asked what normal folks can do to stop the threat of nuclear weapons in your latest podcast and your guest said political engagement. I work for a US based nonprofit working on that…Back from the Brink (https://t.co/eS3Ou7jZ6g)
Yes, an accidental detonation of a nuclear weapon is a horrific thought to consider. Much more horrific is the very real fact that the US government has painted a target on the back of everyone around those missile bases.
@grahamelwood@LeeCamp - Just listened to you guys talking about the Air Force's nuclear blunder and the threat of an accidental nuclear weapon detonation. The ugly secret of the US' nuclear weapon war-fighting strategy is...
...that the US government intends every missile silo to be a "sponge" that serves as a target for the first incoming wave on a nuclear attack. (https://t.co/ml7RXV5Ffb)
UCS, @BackfromBrink, and 300+ local and state officials urge @potus & Congress to pursue a future free of #nuclearweapons as Biden makes important nuclear weapons policy decisions.
So we ran this ad in Politico & The Hill.
Are your officials on board?

New Hampshire! Urge local and state elected officials to a sign on to a national letter urging bold action on U.S. nuclear weapons policy. https://t.co/d5MbYesu5u
