@hankgreen feels like this we’re-new-to-the-internet problem is that it reflects and exaggerates the Id of our societies. And maybe our ‘solution’ shld be… education? Idk, what has made tidal shifts in societal Id/Superego in the past?
@JamesUrbaniak The Neo-Futurist Theater for good weirdness (andersonville technically?). Proxi for fancy but unique dinner and drinks (west loop). @TheasterGates' Stony Island Arts Bank sounds beautiful to see (south shore)
@NPR wasn’t sure where else to send this but there’s a small bug in the app: the EU cookies permission pop up won’t go away once either options is tapped (did go away when I went to another app for a little while and came back)
@reggiewatts you were talking about sitting on things to make other people comfortable and you used the word "burden" and that's my complex too. I kinda know what you mean about the small scale version with using the bathroom haha. Are you doing Jungian therapy?
I like it but have only gone dancing with it. It helps get me out of my head a bit, too! Do you think the sessions turn into better boundaries, less feeling like a potential burden to someone else?
@YouTube whatever algorithm that makes ads play the moment before something dramatic happens… I can’t imagine a scenario where that isn’t making user experience worse 🤨
@nicsigni Any pair that’s the right length for me are a pair that had been designed to be cuffed and I unstitched them for the extra inch. Why don’t they design cute denim shorts just an inch longer?!? p.s. this is easier than rehemming
