@LePapillonBlu2 Couldn’t agree more. It used to be enough for decent people to jump ship. Not really sure what happened but some of the possible explanations are depressing.
Watch 🇫🇮 Stubb debunks russian propaganda for a full minute and a half:
"Look, what has Russia achieved in the past four years? It's acquired 20 percent of the territory of Ukraine. Through military warfare, roughly two percent. In the process of doing that, it has provided about one million casualties and dead.
It has decreased its sphere of influence. You can see the Central Asian countries, you can see the Southern Caucasus detaching themselves from the Russian Empire. You look at the Russian economy right now, if we go with the inflation rates of the two first weeks, we're looking at 30 percent inflation this year, 16 percent interest rates, zero growth, no more reserves, incapacity to pay the soldiers when the war ends. So I'm more worried about Russia's unwillingness to end this war because they cannot afford to do so than about Russia's capability to win this war, not end this war, because they're moving ahead.
So let's keep things into perspective. NATO hasn't entered the scene yet, and they have not been able to advance in the past four years as much as expected.
This war has been an utter strategic failure of President Putin. He increased the size of NATO. He made Ukraine European. He increased the defense budgets of European states.
And here we are asking ourselves, shaking, are we able to defend ourselves? My answer is, yes, we are."
GOP Sen. Thom Tillis slammed Stephen Miller:
“You know what makes me cranky? Stupid…You don’t speak on behalf of this U.S. senator or Congress. You can say it may be the position of the president that Greenland should be a part of the US, but it’s not the position of this government. Because we are a co-equal branch”
The WSJ article saying billion $$ deals are being made with Russia that give them favorable terms over Ukraine is alarming. U.S. foreign policy should not be based on greed. We must stand on the side of freedom, the rule of law & free markets, & know that a “Might Makes Right” world is eventually dangerous to us too.
The Russians are peddling the narrative around the world that Ukraine allegedly cannot defend itself. They are saying that Ukrainian warriors cannot defend themselves.
The daily combat results of the Ukrainian army, our special forces, and deep strikes – these are all proof that Ukraine can defend its interests.
Now every eliminated Russian occupier, every replenishment of our exchange fund for Ukraine, every Russian assault Ukrainians have repelled, every piece of destroyed Russian equipment, every deep strike we carry out – these are all arguments showing that it’s worth standing with Ukraine, worth helping Ukraine, and that it is not Ukraine that must be pressured for peace, but Russia – the sole reason this war drags on.
@liamxobrien12@PennFB This kid has a unique skill set. Great decision making, calm under pressure, great leader and a genuine dual threat. I don’t think he’s reached his ceiling yet and he keeps improving with every game. Can’t wait to see what he does next.
