i just got a bag of $gp around 8m mc and im pissed

first saw this thing at 500k, then again around 1.5m, but ive bought 100+ random runescape lore coins over the years and basically have ptsd at this point

also saw some supply early i couldn’t really account for, so i stayed away

but been watching it develop and here we are

couple things that i like:

> holders seem pretty strong, and there are some familiar names accumulating

> runescape nostalgia is obviously hitting. whoever runs the account understands the lore and is doing a good job with it, great branding.

> it’s become one of the more prominent coins in the stonkfun ecosystem

> holding gp earns $GLDx, interesting connection to tokenized gold thing

> the grand exchange stuff is probably the coolest part to me. they’re basically trying to recreate pieces of the runescape economy onchain, with the side assets feeding activity back into gp

no idea how far any of that goes, and ive been burned by enough runescape coins, but this is the first one in a while where ive watched the lore actually expand instead of just being “runescape coin #147”
