52% of Muslims in Britain disagree homosexuality should be legal (ICM). Only 26% think homosexuals are “equal” (Yonder).
Progressives need to understand you can have respect for LGBT rights.
Or you can have mass migration from outside Europe.
You cannot have both.
The authorities already knew a lot about the terrorist who killed and maimed Pride participants in Germany yesterday.
They knew that:
-he travelled to Lebanon to join the Islamic State in 2025.
-he was arrested and returned to Germany.
-he was held in pre-trial detention until May 2026.
-he was ordered to undergo a de-radicalisation programme.
-he was convicted in May 2026 of preparing a ‘serious act of subversive violence’, but given a suspended sentence rather than jail.
-he was known to police as a member of Islamist circles in Berlin.
-police received a recent tip-off that he had posted a photograph of himself posing with a weapon & searched his apartment.
Despite all this, he remained at liberty to attack innocent people.
Has there ever been a time in history when governments were so unwilling to protect their citizens?
@SkyNews There is a divide in Western society. It's those who understand the threat of murderous intolerant Islam
Then those whose suicidal empathy believe all cultures are equal
The latter put us all in danger as Berlin is just the latest in a long line of murders. Won't be the last
🚨NEW: The Home Office has given the ‘Islamic Centre of England’ powers to sponsor visas for “skilled workers” and religious ministers
This charity is an alleged outpost of the Iranian regime in London

@QOCPERRY Err, Tina Turner is waving smugly from 1984.... (aged 43 and Madonna going onto greater career heights) Madonna didn't do it on her own. Not by a long way
@vyvansefangirl@46Unava Exactly. His death was his best career move since the 90's. He wasn't making music. His last studio album was an expensive flop. The only thing he had that was bankable was a nostalgia tour. Hence why This Is It had indeed sold very strongly in advance sales
@rena_jeb@46Unava Definitely the "family friendly" perception (which is VERY ironic given the allegations) has set them apart in terms of very mainstream, broad, "normie" appeal
Everyone knows the standard of living in the UK is terrible.
A couple used to be able to afford two kids and a home on one income. People weren’t permanently stressed.
Now, families can struggle on two salaries. Energy bills are the highest in the world. House prices are crazy. A modest home is beyond the budget of many.
People wait to have kids until they can afford it - and that day gets further away. Many will never have a child.
In the US or in pretty much any other country life would be easier. Salaries go further, bills and houses are cheaper. Things work. You can see a doctor.
My heart breaks for the British people. They have been betrayed by successive greedy, shortsighted, foolish governments. Wages have been driven down, and house prices inflated, by uncontrolled immigration.
Many younger people now look to escape abroad to have any kind of future.
It shouldn’t be like this.
