While I too want the full weight of justice to be doled out to the spineless coward who murdered Charlie Kirk in front of his young children, I think a better use of this brainwashed cult member would be this:
Instead of rotting for the rest of his miserable life in a prison cell, each and every day of his wretched existence he should be forced to go to different colleges and universities around America and EXPLAIN to other young people exactly HOW his mind became so poisoned with a rhetoric of hate filled anti-American Godless drivel,
(and WHO), and how this sick cult of destructive ideology turned him into a mind numb Zombie capable of cold blooded murder.
Each day he would have to explain what teachers or websites taught this ideological crap and what worked on his feeble brain that sucked him into this vortex of pure evil.
Let him explain every day so other young people, that are also vulnerable to these lies, can learn the cult brainwashing signs and techniques to help identify and prevent others from falling into the same evil…
He knows what worked on him. Let’s get that information out.
I can think of no public figure whose work has meant more to me than John MacArthur's. I can think of no ministry that has shaped my life in greater ways than Grace to You. Like millions of other Christians around the world, his daily teaching became the backdrop of mundane domestic tasks, long car rides, and sleepless nights. His books, the first resources I turned to when dealing with a crisis or trial in my life.
To be quite frank, this feels a little like losing a father.
I had the joy to interview and correspond with him on occasion, and when he heard I had cancer, he sent me a message of great encouragement.
I cannot help but feel we have seen the last of the great lions pass out of the world. But I know, as Pastor John taught me, that the Lord does not leave himself without a witness. And He will raise up more teachers like Johnny Mac, as his dear friend, RC Sproul, another of the great lions, used to call him.
And on that note, I smile to imagine the two of them reunited.
His adherence to sound doctrine never wavered. Whether preaching from his pulpit or on the set with Larry King, he never watered down the truth of Scripture.
I thank you Lord so much for his legacy and that he now has the full joy of his salvation.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
“A Lion of the Pulpit, Now in Christ’s Presence: The Relentless Expository Passion of John F. MacArthur, Jr., 1939-2025. This essay honors John MacArthur as a great gift to Christ’s church — and to me. To God be the glory. https://t.co/16ndeiBS9z
So sad tonight for us. But truly the greatest day for him.
Thankful beyond words for the life and legacy of John MacArthur. He impacted me more than anyone else.
Today, John MacArthur entered into the presence of the Lord, whom he faithfully served for over half a century.
There aren’t enough words to describe the impact he’s had on my life—his unwavering commitment to the truth, bold expository preaching, and love for the church shaped not only my theology but my very walk with Christ. Through his sermons, books, and steadfast shepherding, he taught us to treasure the Word of God and stand firm in grace.
Please pray for his dear wife Patricia and the entire MacArthur family, for Grace Community Church, and for all of us mourning such a profound loss.
Though our hearts ache, we do not grieve as those without hope (1 Thess. 4:13). Pastor John is now beholding the glory of Christ, the One he preached with such conviction and joy.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your master” (Matthew 25:21).
Thank you, John. Soli Deo Gloria.
Our hearts are heavy, yet rejoicing, as we share the news that our beloved pastor and teacher John MacArthur has entered into the presence of the Savior. This evening, his faith became sight. He faithfully endured until his race was run.
2 Timothy 4:1-8
Much can be learned from these two great Christian men
They had massive theological differences but they were great friends who labored together for the advancement of the Kingdom
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.””

All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the LORD. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.
