14 years ago something happened that changed my life forever, I was diagnosed with retinoblastoma in my right eye. In that moment my entire life was set on a different path. I ended up going through months of chemo and surgery to try and cure it. It was unsuccessful. It ended up with me losing my right eye to win the war. Ever sense, it has made me different from everyone else. I take pride in that. It has put a chip on my shoulder to win and be successful in everything I do. From the football field, to the classroom, to everyday life. In no way is it easy to live differently, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Last Sunday, I talked with @Ccampbell349 and felt it was time to share my story with the world, and give hope to other kids who may be in the darkest parts of their lives. This is my story, I’m still building it and will continue to write it, so I can create a legacy that I am proud of. Read more in Casey’s article linked below.
