Great to meet with @DamianGreen this morning alongside @NFUKent and 6 local farmers farmers. We talked about food security, SFI, planning policy, rural crime and fairness in the supply chain.

V. disappointed by @JustEatUK purch. a vegetarian curry. Curry had chicken in it. Reported straight away. 5 days later (not mention before) they ask for picture of product + packaging and won’t progress with complaint. Packaging thrown away and sample with trading standards.

I am not so sure BUT my fundamental point is was it that reference or the disagreement to Government policy? Also how does that make me a clever clogs anyway?

My question was - is the BBC’s issue the fact he disagrees with Government policy or his reference to 1930s Germany? My view is it might be the latter. Not sure that makes me a clever clogs. @manwithlargehat @HeeksTom @AndreasWiseman @Peston @GaryLineker I can’t speak for others. I certainly do not read the Daily Mail. As soon as I saw his comments that is the comparison I thought he was drawing. Again, if that was not his intention he could have clarified but he has chosen not to.

But I believe his reference to 1930s Germany was inappropriate. IF he did not intend that connotation he could have clarified. He has chosen not to.

Good bye to this place. I moved here 20 mths ago at a very low point. This place gave me the opportunity to rebuild my life & to build my life with Clems. There is always 2 sides to a story. Thank you to those who took the time to listen to mine. Now onward with a new future!
