@CBSNews When we older guys were hired we didn’t start with ATPs. Your first check ride as an upgrading captain was your ATP check ride. Air Canada screwed up the paperwork. Guy should have know too though.

@Turbinetraveler Sometimes we may have a brake deferred and need to keep gear down for 2 min to slow it down before going into the wheel well. Normally, brakes are applied at retraction of the main wheels.
