@juanjofdezsola@austinkleon Throwbacks: Innerspace (although the first 10 minutes are slooow), Iron Giant, Stargate, maybe too young for The Abyss? On a more adventure slant I wonder if Time Bandits, The Black Stallion, or Never Cry Wolf still works for kids these days.
@jwhittenbergK5 I was there. Only time Meredith Wilson and sports would be cross paths. Single game highlight: Randy Johnson's no-hitter. Learned to love baseball sitting in the cheap seats in the late 80s/early 90s.
Does a nice job mentioning the eclectic history of directing nominations. My personal biggest take: Oscar has always hated comedy in the major categories. You know, the goofy, funny ones. https://t.co/eUNMU2CTnV
@SeanFennessey Golly, I'm on the other end. Big fan, went with another fan. Three ho-hum action sequences to start, sooooo much needless expository, flat villain. Rome and train stuff work really well but golly, more excited throughout 4-6. Can we get the Ilsa prequel now?
Seattle #Mariners' Cal Raleigh smiles as a teammate throws bubble gum at him after he hit a walk-off single to win the game against the #Yankees in the 10th inning. (@AP_Images photo/Lindsey Wasson)
I keep seeing this tweet make the rounds and it's annoying me because what phone even is this? It's not any Lumia I remember seeing ship. Why would anyone feel the need to photoshop this lol
