I’m hearing reports of people with Covid symptoms continuing to mix with others while waiting for their test results. This is reckless and wrong. If you are symptomatic enough to need a test you should be self isolating until you get the result. #COVID19
@PaulMar75463709@Care2much18 No details on Donegal today. First time in weeks. A good sign. Whatever the number is, it’s less than 35. And we’ve been nearly twice that recently.
The @CMOIreland doesn’t like to share as much detail as his deputy.
@aindrias1978@jamesbyrne_180 Kids went back to school all over the country. Hard to understand why the north would be so badly affected and most of the rest of country isn’t.
@movementcoachkm It was a terrible mistake not to talk to SF after the election. No one was obliged to go into govt with them if they couldn’t make it work, but to not even talk with SF was entirely wrong.
@rossamcmahon @Irishhurleys @gearoidmm The independent reported during the week that 16% of people who’d tested positive or were waiting on results weren’t self isolating. I don’t know what you’d have to do to persuade people like that to stay at home. Maybe a stiff fine would put everyone off the notion.
@aindrias1978@jamesbyrne_180 What did the North do different?
That eat out to help out scheme brought people out and mingling for one. As well as ongoing house parties.
Face mask wearing and social distancing wasn’t as well observed as in republic.
@randomirish@HarryWalsh65 It’s the Buncrana local electoral area, covering Newtown, Burt, Muff, Fahan, Inch and Buncrana. Approx 40 new cases here over the past week.
Donegal not fairing too week in latest weekly #COVID19 Incidence rates/100,000 by Local Electoral Area with four in top ten.
Highest Rates are:
1. Lifford Stranolar 602.6
2. Granard 384.1
3. Carndonagh 347.8
4. Letterkenny 332.3
10. Buncrana 241.4
Isn’t that the truth.
A substantial, pig ignorant minority, are running around the place. Even if they’ve tested positive or are awaiting results of their covid test.
Northern Ireland health minister @RobinSwannMoH accuses those ignoring Covid-19 restrictions of giving "two fingered salute" to the rest of society @rtenews@FergalBowers
@culturalfatwa@LiamCahill2013@gavreilly The county total is released within 48 hours. The number in the press release is for the previous 24 hours.
I blame Charlie Bird!
