The two other seats on the midland public school boards our for four year terms. Of the four candidates running for the two spots John Hatfield is leading with 5133 votes followed by Lynn Baker who has 5130 votes then Betsy Diegel with 4,154 votes and Kurt Yockey with 3777 votes.

The midland public school election for the two six year positions Scott McFarland, the incumbent president of the school board,leads with 6,597 votes next is Brad Blasy, also an incumbent, with 6,509 votes and third is Tiffany Torain with 5,116 votes

With 66 percent of the precincts reporting in the 98th state congressional district Annette Glenn leads by 16605 votes to Sarah Schulz’s 8,358 votes.

In Ward 3, for the election of city council for the city of midland Matthew Rapanos leads Steven Arnosky 781 to 739, a gap of 42 votes.
