@bambamguitar Still listen to the old KTP episodes once in awhile with him and @Osu16Bit and K7. Genuinely so, so upset to hear this, one of the best personalities this scene will ever have and one of the most insightful and knowledgable players. RIP Slips, you will be deeply missed.
@Murdoink@xiphi I wasn't replying directly to you, I was more responding to his comment. I understood what you meant, but I personally don't have a problem with the older animations. I'm not sure what would be the compromise would be, ideally I'd like for the games to retain the gameplay feel.
@xiphi@Murdoink I mean, this is clearly a very early build made by a team with 0 budget. It's going to look a lot better given the right amount of time and resources. Dunno why people are expecting perfect animations/gameplay this early, it's going to look wonky for awhile.
@0utworld@calactyte@Blind_Squirrel_ I don't understand here the tone or attitude is coming from. Do you comprehend how difficult it is to get games completed as an indie developer? Talent/completing games has nothing to do with it. There's so many things behind the scenes that cause games to not get off the ground.
@0utworld@calactyte@Blind_Squirrel_ I'm saying a side project they would do a better job as NRS would never be placed on a project like this in the first place. It wouldn't be a huge seller like their main titles. NRS obviously could do a fantastic job given the time and resources.
@0utworld@calactyte@Blind_Squirrel_ I gotta say, I disagree. I have a lot more faith in Eyeballistic who have proven their attention to detail in remaking the classic games and being as faithful as possible. Knowing they're lifelong passionate fans of the games, + NRS will never have enough time to dedicate to it.
@0utworld@calactyte You're aware they had several playable demos of MK1 already made, right? Clearly they have the ability to make this a reality if they had the funding/backing from WB.
As a guy who bought issue 1 of Sandman off the rack, I never imagined I’d be part of the Dreaming, voicing a character that I always loved! I am honored to be playing Merv Pumpkin in Sandman: Act II, from @audible_com, @DCComics, and the legendary @neilhimself! Hear it on 9/22!
