This morning, I attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Southwest Research Institute’s new facility that will advance our nation’s military infrastructure and technological capabilities.
Southwest Research Institute broke ground on the Center for Accelerating Materials and Processes (CAMP) today. The 36,000 square foot, two-story facility will support research and development for tomorrow’s high-speed aerospace engines. #Groundbreaking#WeAreSwRI
@SwRI Jayant also gave a great talk this morning on the results of a long-term internal research project investigating the characteristics of lithium-ion batteries under grid-scale operations in order to improve battery storage management to increase life and improve safety.
