The Bristol Downs League is the only 11-a-side football league in the world like it.
Four divisions, all played in the same place each Saturday on the Downs.
The heart of Bristol ❤️⚽️
With 41 teams playing in the same place every Saturday, The Bristol Downs League is completely unique.
Joe Sims spends a year with the players who are always at home.

Our fantastic league is all played on the Bristol Downs. Did you know that in 1870 W.G. Grace played the first ever Gloucester County Cricket match there too? And he planted trees for the boundary which are still there... https://t.co/6wP23v4XG2 @Gloscricket#grassrootsfootball
