I never really got it when people said animation was as important as live action but a movie franchise like this made me get it; you can't achieve stuff this movie did visually with live action
1. Doesn't mean I can't give credit where it's due.
2. Doesn't have to do with my point.
3. Who cares if a Spider-Man movie doesn't use Spider-Man villain? Is that a serious question? If you're adapting the Spider-Man mythos, maybe take advantage of it.
@FireGoku_ Why did they film a shot of Peter in the suit with the mask off lmao. And why is Venom interested in Peter to begin with? I'm so glad these guys are never meeting. This was too dumb lmao
@astrocomps Spider verse 2 is only a $125 mill and they went to different universes, Guardians 2 was $200 mill. Not ton mention Spider verse’s gorgeous artstyle and cinematography, with animation your imagination has no limits
@astrocomps And there’s no need for an explanation that makes sense irl, like how his lenses in the MCU and Insomniac games are mechanical, and even then not that expressive. Not to mention in animation there’s less worry about budget when it comes to crazy environments
@CinemaSupreme Facts, Peter in Raimi 1 felt contrived where he’s nice until one scene where he snaps at Ben. It was too soon as oppose to Andrew who had the teen angst where it wasn’t out of nowhere that he’d snap. I love Andrew’s attitude since he definitely needs to learn responsibility
