The Southland Conf is a GRIND. Every possession matters. Every road trip is tough. Every game feels like March. To be 1 of 8 teams advancing to the tournament in a league with 12 really good teams is something to be proud of. This group has fought for it all season long. 😈🤟🏽🏀

NO ONE PLAYS HARDER THAN THEM. The winningest duo in Texas high school basketball history concludes their high school careers with a third State Championship appearance — and a second State Championship title — following a convincing victory over four-star Baylor commit Elijah Williams and TMI Episcopal, led by Head Coach Monty Williams. Tonight marked the final high school game for my sons, and fittingly, they finished their careers as State Champions. Our family is deeply grateful to Head Coach Ahmad Ajami for believing in them and for fostering an environment that allowed them to grow, develop, and excel both on and off the court. Three State Championship appearances. Two State Championship titles. Countless accolades — all earned while playing the game the right way: with selflessness, discipline, and a commitment to team success. We are beyond proud and truly grateful. Congratulations, boys. Tomorrow, the work continues as they begin preparing for the next chapter — college basketball.📈📈
