You suggest, hotel have discretion, and I am suggesting that hotels have policies. If they join a group, they should follow the common group policy which includes providing benefit to loyal members even if it comes with revenue loss.

But if hotels start taking discretion on free upgrade to loyalist or wait for sale of room, the later is always more beneficial for them.

I booked my cab for airport drop for 10:30 am.
The cab location was showing 47mins away till 10:15am
Driver was not picking up call.
Cancelling was showing cancellation charges.
Ended up booking uber and move on.

You mention that cab timing will be adjusted based flight actual arrival and if my flight arrived 25 mins early, the cab timing was still not adjusted.

When it was 10:30 I hoped that now cancellation won’t be charged as cab is late, suddenly cab location jumps to airport and cancellation still charged.

Whats the point of taking flight detail if early arrival is not tracked ?
