Breaking: A suit has been filed at the Federal High Court in Kano seeking the disqualification of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the 2027 presidential election over allegations of certificate forgery.

The plaintiff, the Centre for Reform and Public Advocacy (CFRPA), alleges that Tinubu presented forged academic and NYSC certificates to INEC during the 2023 elections and is asking the court to bar him from contesting in 2027.

The case is now before the court, and the allegations remain subject to judicial determination.

My issue isn't with selling akara or roasting corn. My issue is when that's presented as a national vision.
But if that's the best economic advice coming from the highest levels of government, then we're asking the wrong questions.
Leadership should be talking about reopening factories, supporting businesses, increasing exports, attract investment, create sustainable jobs, growing industries and build an economy where people can thrive not just survive.
The problem has never been that Nigerians don't want to work. The problem is that we've normalized survival.
