It was the last Sports Ability Day of the year for DP yesterday! A great day at the Jubilee Hub trying out lots of new activities and developing skills ⛳🎾🏅🏀🎳
How we do like to be beside the seaside! DP made the most of the spring sunshine this week at Beach School in Lytham. Sun, sand art and beach conservation. We loved it☀️ #beachschool#conservation#lytham
As part of our Experiential Education Curriculum and to support our learning in humanities, DP pupils visited Quarry Bank Mill last term. We enjoyed learning about the rich history of the mill and the people who lived and worked there.
The Festival of Archaeology launches this weekend and the 2023 theme is 'creativity'.
So why not join us at Warrington Museum for some free archaeology themed drop-in craft activities?
⛵ This Saturday, between 1pm and 3pm, we will be making Viking ships. Suitable for ages 3+
Our youngest DP scientists have been exploring acids and alkalis this half-term. They have really enjoyed their topic, especially the practical experiment today 👩🏼🔬🧪
Another fantastic Personal Development day in DP today! All our pupils worked hard to explore emotions, empathy and resilience through a range of activities. ⭐
Our very own Annie in Year 10 sang "Proud" leading Primary Schools in their collaborative performances in front of over 1,200 people last Thursday, at the Accent "Children of the Hub Sing" at DCBL Stadium, Widnes.⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
This is one of the best things. What a wonderful tweet and photo. Hats off to my wife for coming up with the concept for these stories and suggesting we do certificates. Thank you Mrs Mollatt.

An outstanding evening at the first ever @TCAT_SportPlus presentation night, where our elite athletes were rewarded with their representative ties. Special mention to Robbie Simpson for finish 3rd in the overall @TCATchallenge sports personality of the year. @PenkethSchool

Curiouser and curiouser…our group today loved exploring @PenkethSchool support of the local community’s scarecrow festival. And then straight to our school library to find it. Winner. How fab @MrsStanleyPHS and team ?💖
Year 10 and 11 spent an afternoon at @wvrcollege earlier this week! Pupils enjoyed taster sessions in Health and Beauty, and Construction Trades. Definitely a highlight of our week ⭐@PenkethSchool@Thompson__PHS
