BREAKING: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in a ‘near catastrophic’ car chase overnight, after being pursued by paparazzi for over 2 hours. This took place in New York City.

The official statement from a spokesperson representing the couple said “Last night, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi. This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers… While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone's safety.”

There were several vehicles chasing them. These vehicles were running red lights, driving on sidewalks and more.

Why should this type of stalking and harassment be permitted in the United States, or anywhere? Why didn't anyone stop them?

Haven’t we learned anything from the Princess Diana crash? Why can’t people just allow others to live their lives no matter how famous they are?
