Watching 40 buses roll in for our Tyler Talk with Cullman County Schools yesterday was an incredible sight. Our initial focus was collegiate athletes but our mission has broadened & we’re very grateful to share our journey & Tyler’s story w/ high school students across the country. Critique the Critic

Athletes are often hard on themselves, particularly when it comes to past performances. Overly critical post-performance analyses are often inaccurate & unhelpful. Constantly berating ourselves for mistakes or missed opportunities can rob us of joy & create a relationship w/ our performance that is rife w/ fear. Deer Park baseball is partnering with @HilinskisHope to raise money to support mental wellness programs for student athletes.

Our goal is to play 100 innings of baseball in one day. High school, middle school, little league and other community members will be playing throughout the day on April 28th. Players will raise money by pledge for each inning played by a player or by flat donation.
