Karmelo didn't cry when the jury heard the 911 call after Austin Metcalf was stabbed.
He didn't cry when Austin's twin brother, Hunter, could be heard screaming in anguish and praying his brother wouldn't die.
He didn't cry when the jury was shown Austin's autopsy photos.
He didn't cry when they saw the blood-soaked shirt used in a desperate attempt to save Austin's life.
But he cried when he was found guilty.
And he cried again when he was sentenced to 35 years.
The only tears the jury saw were for his own fate, not for the life that was taken.
Austin Metcalf was robbed of his high school graduation, he will never get another birthday, another chance to live the life that was stolen from him.
Thirty-five years may be justice under the law, but for many, it doesn't feel like enough.
@Philosopherjayy@IngrahamAngle@WesleyHuntTX You're going to believe what you want to believe. I choose to believe the facts in the case that came from actual witnesses that testified to Anthony's aggressive behavior.
@Philosopherjayy@IngrahamAngle@WesleyHuntTX There is no credible evidence of corruption π Stop believing everything you see/read on social media.

@AndrewHazlett@FreeinFL22@ABC ABC conveniently doesn't share the fact that many illegals already have removal orders. Or the fact that illegals have committed fraud, forgery, grand theft, arson, deal drugs, or have a DUI and they are not classified has non-violent.
I'm seeing a lot of fake information about a potential deal to reopen the Strait and end Iran's nuclear weapons program. First, the Iranians are not receiving any cash, and no funds are being released for simply signing a deal or attending a meeting. The deal is structured to ensure that the US and its allies concerns are prioritized, and that if the Islamic Republic of Iran meets its obligations, then economic benefits will flow to them and to the entire region. This deal has the potential to remake the region and lead to lasting peace.
I've noticed a couple of bizarre things in the reporting over the last few hours. First, people who (rightly) said Donald Trump was a historic president a month ago now criticizing a deal based on unconfirmed media reports. Second, people who say you can't trust a word said by the IRGC who apparently believe anonymously sourced social media posts.
The president is going to get us a good outcome, one way or the other.
Putting your hands on someone doesn't warrant you to stab them in the chest. In my lifetime, I've been pushed/shoved numerous times. If my first instinct was to stab each one of them we'd have alot of dead people around. Karmelo Anthony made a conscience choice to be violent and is now reaping the consequences of his actions.
You said you looked up the details of the case. Apparently you missed the part where Karmelo was sitting under a Memorial High tent when he stabbed Austin and then like a coward he ran into the bleachers. There is no witness testimony that says 3-4 kids assaulted Anthony, but hey if you can provide it I'd love to see it.
@Philosopherjayy@IngrahamAngle@WesleyHuntTX If Karmelo felt threatened because of these larger boys one would think he would have left the tent immediately. You don't hang around an opposing teams tent, after being asked 15 times to leave, if you feel unsafe. Instead he hung around acting like a tough guy.
You may have missed the part where several witnesses testified that Karmelo was the aggressor? How about the part where he was asked to leave up to 15 times. He had a knife on him that was against school policy to have π€ Normal people don't go around stabbing other human beings for being pushed?
