It is with deep shock and profound sadness that I learned of the passing of our dear brother and respected journalist, Joseph Sseruwoza of @bbstvug .

Jose was not just a fellow journalist but a true friend and comrade in the trenches. I was privileged to work alongside him for some time while covering Parliament, where his sharp insights, dedication to the truth, and unwavering professionalism left a lasting impression on me. He brought integrity and passion to every story, and those moments we shared chasing leads and holding power to account will always remain with me.

Uganda’s media fraternity has lost one of its finest. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, and all of us who knew him during this difficult time.
May God grant you all strength and comfort in this moment of grief.
