Using iPad as the only display for Mac mini, wirelessly, is great.
But the catch is the trackpad on iPad’s Magic Keyboard won’t work with Sidecar.
So I use Siri Remote 1st gen as a sidekick.
@markgurman the Mac Pro died the moment a $1,600 Mac Mini started outperforming it on real workloads. Apple just finally stopped pretending. the real story is that $7,000 cheese graters lost to a device you can hide behind a monitor
@cb_doge Doing what I can for justice. It’s messed up that so many people are getting away with hurting minors. The prosecution counter for Epstein clients can’t be zero.
Wow, it’s so crazy the Epstein “killed himself” before realizing he was “innocent” 🙄
And Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison for what exactly? Oh yeah.
Epstein client arrest counter is still zero.
Micro-interactions are the difference between "this works" and "this feels premium."
And most products skip them entirely.
What micro-interactions are:
→ Button slightly scales when pressed
→ Checkbox animates when checked
→ Toggle slides smoothly between states
→ Card lifts on hover
→ Input field highlights on focus
→ Success checkmark animates in
→ Error shakes gently
Users can't tell you why one interface feels better.
But they absolutely feel the difference.
Micro-interactions aren't decoration.
They're functional communication happening at subconscious level.
I built the most advanced IDE for iPad that has ever come. It's basically Xcode for iPad.
It implements its own Swift interpreter, allowing iOS and visionOS to run code and SwiftUI apps (with UIKit support).
It is even faster than SwiftUI Previews on macOS.
More to show soon. Will be able to replace the Mac for many developers and allow developers that didn't have access to developer tools this advanced to now build whatever they want.
