.@ABDanielleSmith that is a lie. Provincial Court judges are appointed exclusively by Alberta Cabinet. Federal Court of Kings Bench justices are appointed by a committee that includes provincial input.
Alberta government is responsible for law-enforcement. Courts are independent
Seriously, please please please everyone watch this incredible moment from Angel Barajas. I could not believe it (as you can hear from my commentary). 😳😵💫🤩
How on earth did he do this?!?
Sensational.
Thousands of Alberta health-care workers took to the streets Thursday, adding to growing labour unrest in the province. As Sean Amato reports, some workers, critics and academics agree a feeling of government disrespect is a common factor. #ableg#cdnpoli

So, the AB government offered to pay $150/week to parents of kids 12 and under (during teacher strike). Online stats state there are around 436,000 kids in AB 12 and under.
$150 x 436,000= $65.4 million per WEEK.
Seems like a lot to pay to try and break the ATA and further weaken public education.
IMPERIAL OIL WHISTLEBLOWER ALLEGES:
“Hey Mario, I am an employee at Imperial and while I'd like to stay anonymous if you post my comments, I do want to clarify many points that were left out of the press release and missed by the comments made in the legislature.
While they are laying off 20% of the staff, this number is misleading.
They will be keeping all of the "below field" staff (the term they are using for people working at site) they will be laying off almost all of the "above field" staff (office employees).
I feel that the term "laying off" is also misleading, as they are not eliminating those roles.
A large portion of those roles will be moved to what they call "global business centers" which is their not so clever way of saying "outsourcing".
Those few that are moved to Houston or to the office space they plan on adding at the Strathcona refinery will be left in a position of little to no potential career progression.
If you were unaware, Imperial is 70% owned by ExxonMobil. This shift isn't even about Imperial cost cutting, this is about ExxonMobil shipping the value of Canadian resources to Houston, India and Buenos Aires.”

Danielle Smith’s Alberta is a place where it’s okay to:
- encourage parental abuse on kids
- attack Alberta teachers
- blow $461,000,000 on bougie private schools
- make sure Alberta students are the lowest funded in Canada
FYI: this isn’t okay
Last summer, Jasper National Park had a devastating wildfire burning 39,000 hectares and 1/3 of Jasper town.
It was Canada's 9th most expensive natural disaster and destroyed so much history and natural beauty.
There was so much gov failure before & after. Let's take a look:
