@MidwestGolfJake Just a question - Are you approaching shots with the same level of attention in both settings? For me, when I played a course that should have been easy, my attention and attitude wandered!
Old guy here..allowable contact in basketball has increased greatly. It's become a game of who can force their way into favorable positions or physically intimidate the opponent. To me, a return to emphasis on skill and strategy is needed.

Had a garage session today for the first time in well over a month. Worked on backswing path and transition and had a productive session. Got my Stack out for the first time in 5 months and surprised myself with 88 mph swings. At my age, I was pleased-attitude is improving!
@rossmacleodputt@JishSwish To me, # of putts are a part of the big picture. With just that stat, I played a competition round a week ago and shot shot 87 with 41 putts. If I had met my average, I would have broken 80 and place in my division. I don't do SG anymore.
@MidwestGolfJake Have you ever kept stats to truly determine what aspect of your game needs the most attention? I know for me my short game is key to scoring well!
@ryanmouquegolf Agree. Speed control is King. My only defense (weak) is I have never had a putter fitting. BTW- I have continued using the drills you gave me and my ball striking is much better.
Never needed this before.....but....how do I know what style of putter is best for me? Mallet, blade, face balanced, toe hang, length, grip style and size, etc, etc.
