@MadFriarAvelyn @Ginkgo Glad to hear you got a vaccine appointment using @vaccinetime! I like The Greater Boston Food Bank if you’d like to donate there. Thanks! https://t.co/zpvyxW6MTS
@pronounced_ing@lindaholmes@vaccinetime I’m sorry about this, I didn’t realize the link was private when I added it to @vaccinetime. I saw it on reddit and after reading through the linked BMC site it seemed open to the public, there was no text indicating otherwise unfortunately
@ceratopseer @claudiamcarrera@kfitzsimmons@vaccinetime Hey! Sorry about that, it looks like BMC turned this particular sign up private but the bot still found the appointments and posted about them. I updated the code so it shouldn’t happen again. Thanks!
@BrandonGleklen@vaccinetime Glad to hear about your vaccine appointment! I like The Greater Boston Food Bank if you’d like to donate there. Thanks! https://t.co/zpvyxW6MTS
@jeninshrewsbury @Ryan_Salinger @ramblingpriest @Allyson87546701@vaccinetime Thanks for taking the time to help clear this up! I’m the author of @vaccinetime so although I can’t speak to what they’ll allow at the clinic day of, I can say that the link originally came from https://t.co/xZSmRnxekW so I’d go with whatever it says there
@Ryan_Salinger@torirace@vaccinetime This is the sign up page with the prerequisites, you can check that the maimmunizations sites are linked at the bottom: https://t.co/xZSmRnxekW Some sites use maimmunizations under the hood which is why vaccinetime looks at them
@Ryan_Salinger @ramblingpriest @Allyson87546701@vaccinetime Hi Ryan! Just FYI that maimmunization link you sent out is for teachers only. Vaccinetime found it here: https://t.co/xZSmRnxekW
@dstutz_@vaccinetime Please consider donating to the Greater Boston Food Bank or another charity of your choice if you’d like to show your appreciation, thanks! https://t.co/zpvyxW6MTS
@causalityproven @vaccinetime It’s hidden in the page data on maimmunizations that vaccinetime looks at (the bot can see it but the page doesn’t render it). You can double check when booking, it should say in the checkout process too
If you’re interested in learning more about how @vaccinetime works, check out this blog post I wrote! It’s an inside look at the basics of what goes on in the #ruby code. https://t.co/O5x9qmp2WS
@jbenanto@vaccinetime On the CVS page linked by vaccinetime scroll down and click “Massachusetts”. If anything is available, it will list it and provide a link to schedule. When there’s no availability it doesn’t show the scheduling link (usually CVS gets all booked in the early AM). Hope that helps!
@DaisyNgMak2@vaccinetime The Tufts site says: “Please note that the type of vaccine you receive is determined by supply and what is available to us on that day” so I think it could be any of them.
@VTSkierMRG@vaccinetime Sure, I just enabled it for maimmunizations clinics. Most other sites don’t say which type they have, so unfortunately I can’t add it for all of them
@becauseBiology Are those the tweets referring to https://t.co/xZSmRnxekW? If you click through the links at the bottom of the page the appointments are all for St Vincents. I added the Rutland site to the bot because some of those links don’t appear on https://t.co/a4w6htzmTP directly
@mxm630@vaccinetime The bot scans all locations that it knows about on the same interval, no preference is given to particular locations. The sites it scans are listed here, let me know if it’s missing anything in western MA and I can see about adding it: https://t.co/oVnI1oj6iF
@ThePromotainer@vaccinetime I think the maimmunization site is having some technical difficulties tonight. It shows these appointments every half hour but then only works for a few minutes before going to the no appointments screen. If you can fill out your info fast, it seems to work within those few mins
