Our spousal sponsorship file is now at 17 months (Rabat VO). MP Chandra Arya has only gotten the response of “no updates”. WHY? This is unbearable. Why are other files being processed under 12 months but not out of 🇲🇦?

@SeanFraserMP @Kevin_Lamoureux @rechievaldez This is ridiculous. Another pathway while there is no transparency, no procedural fairness and false service standards for those of us waiting to be with our spouses. 16 MONTHS my file has been in processing! Talk about THAT! More smoke and mirrors.

@CanadaImmigra20 Infuriating! My spouse still can’t come!!!??? Why? We’re 16 months processing time with our spousal sponsorship! WHY????? Why is it getting easier for everyone but the spouses of candians desperate to be together????????

@SeanFraserMP @NellStewart @CitImmCanada Why are foreign nationals on TRV allowed work permits while there isn't a mechanism to reunite families while sponsorship is processing? I am disillusioned as a citizen who is denied this basic human right. Our lives are on hold! WHY?

@CanadaImmigra20 The system is unfair and racist. My spouse cannot get a visitors visa. Because he is not rich and is not western it is presumed he is a criminal who will not respect the law and leave after 6 months. And I am too presumed to be a criminal who would go along with it.

@CanadaImmigra20 These timelines are a joke. I got our GCMS notes today, confirming our worst fear. Our file has not been touched since biometrics and medical in May 2022. Nothing!
I pay taxes, am an upstanding citizen and yet can’t get basic human rights! Is this really Canada? @SeanFraserMP

Apparently the Minister of Immigration doesn’t deal with immigration issues 🤔. MPs can’t do much but tell you what the tracker tells you. So there is ZERO recourse.
