I’ve posted quite a bit these last few years about the outstanding police work done by our @DallasPD SWAT, @TacticalDPD.

Our team members are incredible, but an unsung hero was the unit commander, Lt. Kevin Campbell.

Having been a former operator, I can’t tell you the importance of leadership, in all our units, but SWAT and what they face daily, takes a certain type of leadership.

Well, Lt. Campbell is retiring. I slept well, knowing he was in command. He will be missed! But, I have the UTMOST confidence that his time leading SWAT, will leave a lasting impression that will NO DOUBT allow the new command, to continue the great tradition.

Thanks for stopping in Kevin! Enjoy your well earned retirement!
