@SW_Help just FYI the EAD glass is smashed on the outside of D door of carriage 68125 as I had to let passengers off when the doors were locked with the parents separated from their kids. Could you please let the fleet team know?
@MrTimDunn@HeathrowExpress I say behind my hands that their disposal was partly my doing as eng manager at the time 🫣. 332001 is indeed a classroom/education facility. Everyone I know associated with HEx prior to 2021 was delighted they didn’t all get the brutal Newport claw of doom…
@GNRailUK carriage 422174 has some pretty hideous hunting at the London end of the carriage. May be worth alerting the fleet team. Bit inconsistent so probably needs a tech to ride it!
@MrMappy Probably give them a heart attack to know that in Zurich yesterday we saw 8-car double deck units coupling with the stationary unit having its doors open…
@25kV@stephen37292ML I was about to say the horns shouldn’t be getting that much wear and there’s some very obvious signs of having struck a couple of things on those carbons!
@DieselDragonUK@Hampo The Toblerones were added to reduce the risk at the platform train interface as Merseyrail has a slightly unique gauge. Unlikely you’ll see it elsewhere. The UIC numbers are optional on new fleets but I know TPE have them on their Mk5s and I believe a few other fleets do too.
