@cjsouthwell1902 Whatever today's result is, thanks for guiding us so expertly and with such candour and insight through such a madcap season. Enjoy your summer of rest (?).
@bjbubbly I'll suggest it. Thanks Bev. She says the one that appears complete is the most boring and she prefers a challenge! I'll try to persuade her to pick up her needles. I said she was born at NNUH and she weighed judt 3lb so this is close to her heart!
@bjbubbly I saw your request for knitters to make blankets for NICU babies at NNUH. My wife is a great knitter and was born there. She would love to help. Not in Norwich area now but happy to post blankets. Is this of any interest?
@PeterStefanovi2@SkyNews Sadly, while I'm in sympathy with much of what you write, I'm Unfollowing on account of your spamming my feed with over 60 posts in 24 hours. It's counter-productive. Farewell.
@JonathSchofield Have you encountered "Alan Turing's Manchester" by Jonathan Swinton? Lots of fascinating info on Manchester's role in the rise of the computer generation as its Industrial Revolution role waned. A curious coming together of disparate intellectuals fuelling a digital revolution.
@ChrisReevo@iwanwroberts@Grantholt31 I was at Anfield for @Grantholt31 v Liverpool. As he was about to sub on some 'Pool fans chanted "Who ate all the pies?" When he scored we returned the compliment along the lines of Carragher, Reina and Johnson, who were left on their backsides, needing MORE pies.
@Photo_Poll For interest, this urinal is in Oslo's City Hall and was installed in 1950, almost ¾ century ago. I used it yesterday and it works better than I do at the same age! Johnson Fireclay of Stoke disappeared in 1963 but it's legacy lives on in Norway.
