Grade 4/5 students in Mr. Fast's class unleashed their inner Basquiat! Inspired by the legendary artist, they're blending colours, shapes, and ideas with mixed media to create stunning works of art. The future of creativity is bright in these young hands! #Basquiat#BHM
Yesterday we channeled our inner Jean-Michel Basquiat by creating these beautifully chaotic mixed media artworks. The amount of detail they put in was amazing! Teachers, DM me if you want the lesson plans. #basquiat#artlesson#bhm@FitchSchool

In my family, my grandparents measured the grandchildren's heights every year. I'm bringing the tradition into the classroom for our measurement unit. We'll measure our height throughout the year to keep track of our growth, and use it as a metaphor for our personal development.
We're almost a whole month through the year! Where has the time gone? I've been loving getting to know my students over the past few weeks, and tonight I got to connect with families at the @FitchSchool Open House. Looking forward to learning and growing with this awesome bunch!
This week, students used ideas from #DungeonsandDragons to aid in writing character traits. Next week, Gorton the Half-Orc Druid will give writing prompts as students use their created Heroes to explore narrative. #teacher#teachingideas
