Some games have weight to them, and others have high stakes. No matter the case, always love the journey you are in and take care of your people.
As an AT, I love the path my profession has taken me, and I get to take care of my people all the time!

Found this gem! It has been hiding in the wrestling garage for a bit.
This hydrocollator has been calibrated/cleaned and will serve our student-athletes with hot packs to warm up injured muscles and tissue. Great therapy tool!
In the dugout last night, we had a competition on what walk-up song was the best. Solid turnout and musical taste on the baseball teams part. Very proud!
If I had a walk-up song, there is one and only one song I would use. #MachineHead
Thank you, @MontreeJay5 for the video.
The reason I keep going as an AT is my kids.
I want them to understand that work can be fun with the right community and people.
I love it when they come to "work" with me and see the stadium lights.
They are excited for more Friday nights this year!
ATs have to follow the rules in their state and governing bodies to maintain their status.
I perform all these tasks to keep us out of harms way and keep our communities up to date on the changes that happen in the medical field.
I do all of this for us and our athletes.
For Athletic Training Month, I want to give you all some insight on our training and education.
Besides 4 to 5 years in a graduate program receiving 2 degrees in AT, we have to pass our BOC test to be nationally certified ATs and then get licensed in our state we work in. [1]
We also have to keep our certifications up to date every year to maintain our level of practice. We have laws and bylaws in each state that we have to follow for reporting injuries, referrals, ethics, emergency planning, and continuing education. [2]
It's National Athletic Trainers Month!
I want to take a moment and appreciate the student athletes I work with on a daily basis!
Love all the grad party invites and thank you notes I get over the years!
Of course, this door is decorated in athletic tape!
