@rileyjauch Want to adjust that assessment? Western Illinois was blown out by Illinois St last week. And had their way with us for big chunks of this game. Hard to imagine us beating a quality big ten foe. Luckily we play some duds this year... but even those will be close.

Western Illinois was blown out by Illinois St last week. The last 6 quarters were dreadeful for Bucky. The QB might improve his accuracy as he settles in... hopefully.

So Luke will need to win every close game to survive the year because this team will be throttled a few times. If Catalono or Cheeks get hurt... 4-8.

@jaypo1961 Much better on O (considering the ND D). Our D showed it can compete against high talent in the first half. There is no team like that on the rest of our schedule & I doubt we'll both throw a pick 6 & muff a kick return again. Solid. Only outgained by 64 yds despite second half.
