Fr Joe and I will hold a prayer service in Dublin Castle tomorrow evening at 7pm to remember Kevin his family and his garda colleagues.

As many of you will have heard, St Michans Church today has once again been vandalised. A man entered one of the crypts and set fire to the mummified body of the 800 year old crusader which has been destroyed.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank An Garda Siochana, Dublin Fire Brigade and all those who have offered their support by text, email and phone calls.
As a direct result of this desecration there will be no tours until further notice.

I am not in a position to visit the Dublin stations to offer my support in person as I am on sick leave at present. May God be with you all or if you do not believe in any God may you find peace and support from family, colleagues and friends.

My colleagues in An Garda Siochana need to be congratulated for their professionalism and also commended for their ability to resist using undue force in dealing with the rabble who went on the rampage last night in Dublin.

My prayer for all of them is that they may be kept safe in their duties as they keep us safe in our lives. Well done to all who were on duty last night including fire and ambulance services or working in stations across the city.

Surely that should read received into the Christian church as Baptism is a universally recognised sacrament. Baptism is not into a denomination but into the household of God!

@StepanRehak @skodaautonews My iv80 is supposed to@give me 510/520km range. Since I got this in January 2022 I have NEVER reached this level. Max on 100% is 401km. Back to dealer on a number of occasions but no better.
