Bret Bielema is the human body working at perfection. Panthers/Cubs/Hornets/Illinois fan. Talking sports and movies here as those make up 90% of my personality
@OutOfTheVines The cubs don’t seem to be able to get the breakout quick rising prospects other teams have success with. Do you think this is due to a philosophical approach (high floor older players) or more of an issue with scouting/development?
@LateRoundQB Someone like Bucky Irving if he comes back has missed significant time this year. You would hope to be immediately involved if he plays, but there is inherent risk. Is it typically best to keep someone benched the first week back from an injury?
@thorku Big part was that Dylan Harper’s brother Ron Harper Jr was a big time Rutgers player, which gave them the in with Dylan. Ace Bailey was good friends and wanted to play with Harper.
A frustrated Jerry Jones had some comments about the sun impacting play at AT&T Stadium: “By the way, we know where the sun is going to be when we decide to flip the coin or not. We do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium.”
Why not put up curtains over the windows?
Jerry: “Well let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?
“Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues.
“I’m saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where’s the moon?”
@T_MeLLoWz15 It’s got weird rules about who can play. You’ve gotta play in a bunch of 3x3 events to throughout the year in order to be eligible for the Olympics. I’d imagine teams, even colleges, don’t want their guys playing those tourneys and risk injuries
