$AAOI is at $128 today, who could have seen that coming 1 week ago? Well, I did. Stock is up over 30% since this transaction. Subs were informed right away. https://t.co/q4qI7iqJos…
We are about to witness one of the biggest disruptions in the history of the telecom and internet industry.
For decades, telecom and internet giants have dominated the industry with limited competition, slow innovation, and increasingly mediocre service.
SpaceX, $SPCX, is about to change that.
This is a clear wake up call to the current giants of the industry.
Evolve or you will be left behind.
AI stocks are selling off:
According to Financial Times, OpenAI told its investors its annualised revenue is $50 billion by the end of September. This is far below the expectation of ~$70 billion, and a pretty staggering $20 billion difference.
$AAOI is adding $BE fuel cells to power its Taiwan expansion because demand for 800G and 1.6T optics is growing faster than the grid can support.
The interesting part is this is already a qualified hyperscale line so faster power directly means more transceivers shipped.
Samsung Q3 2026 preliminary earnings:
Revenue: KRW 195.0T (+126.6% YoY)
Operating profit: KRW 107.4T (+782.5% YoY)
Operating profit thus came in near $80 billion dollar in a single quarter, even higher than $NVDA’s operating profit in the past quarter. Insane.

DA Davidson raises $MU's PT to $3,000 from $2,100, maintains Buy rating.
The price target is based on a 19x FY2027 multiple.
Insanely bullish 🔥

Still not bullish enough on memory. Memory is not looking pretty pre-market but in my eyes, there is nothing to worry about.
The shortage is not ending any time soon, earnings keep rising and the rampup of HBM4 will not only boost earnings, but also put a strain on DRAM
supply.

Reportedly, Lisa Su is hunting for more memory.
Remember: MI455X carries 432 GB of HBM4, 50% more per GPU than Nvidia's Rubin.
She is in Taiwan locking wafer, CoWoS, and substrate capacity three to five years out. Next stop: Korea, to secure memory.
-AI CPU and GPU demand is running ahead of plan
-Supply steps up this year and "significantly" again in 2027
-The old one to two year planning window is dead
-MI450 is in production on TSMC 2nm plus CoWoS, volume in 2027
-MI455 starts in the first half of 2027
More HBM per GPU, longer contracts, and the buyer flying to the seller.
So when inference spend is growing faster than AI training spend, what components are bound to benefit from it? CPU, and... memory.

So...
HBM3E price was $1.50 per Gb.
Samsung is now negotiating a price of around $4.50 or slightly higher for HBM4 with its major customers.
You are not bullish enough on HBM.

Great news! The $600M ATM overhang of $AAOI is finally over.
For me, it was never really a bearish thing but part of the process of expanding capacity agressively. It’s part of the risks that $AAOI has, but if the execution is sound then the upside is huge.
$AAOI just removed one of the biggest overhangs on the stock.
The $600M ATM is officially COMPLETE.
AAOI sold 5.7M shares at an average price of $105.36, raising roughly $588M net.
The dilution is now behind us.
More importantly, that capital strengthens the balance sheet and gives AAOI significantly more firepower to scale manufacturing as demand for 800G/1.6T optics continues to ramp.
They didn’t raise this kind of capital to sit on it.
ATM overhang gone. Balance sheet loaded. Capacity expanding. AI optical demand accelerating.
Now the focus goes back to execution.
Still very bullish on $AAOI 🚀
Interesting… so no de-spec’ing?
I was under the impression that HBM4 would have 8-Hi specifications primarily because of supply constraints.
Looks like that might change 👀
