I think you’re having difficulty separating yourself as a Tesla fan, a TSLA investor, and a fan of Elon.

You may or may not be aware of this, but all of the gaslighting you’ve been doing dismissing legitimate TSLA investor concerns has very likely contributed to billions of dollars of losses in shareholder value.

Please try to understand that Elon speaking his mind isn’t the problem… it’s the fact that the company behind him is UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING to mitigate the potential brand damage as a direct consequence of him speaking his mind.

And they likely can’t do anything because everyone behind him is handicapped. And that’s likely because YOU (and a number of others) are convincing him that there’s no problem, and anyone else who thinks there’s a problem is just dumb.

You’re contributing to the creation of an environment where his own management team can’t voice their concerns.

Do you honestly know what a risk assessment is? Have you ever had to risk accept or risk mitigate a business risk? It would be amazing if instead of talking down investor concerns, you tried to take them onboard and maybe get the message to Elon:

When the company doesn’t advertise, and Elon is plastered all over the news because of his latest political opinion or other antic, people are not talking about how great the products are. This doubles as well for the stock, when institutional investors are weighing whether to invest in Tesla, if there is too much drama associated with the investment because of the CEO, they’re going to forget about the great products and will just not bother investing. And believe it or not, not every single employee is 100% behind Elon’s political opinions either. You need only look across the TSLA community and you can see the extreme levels of division that have been sown.

What’s clear is Elon’s primary purpose right now is to DRIVE ENGAGEMENT for Twitter/X. What he may not realize — and in large part thanks to tweets from yourself (and again there are a number of others don’t get me wrong but you are by far the loudest) who are convincing him that everything is fine — is that he IS doing irreparable damage to the company’s reputation and brand image.

Please take time to understand: Promotional / educational advertising counters the damage for both consumers and investors, and it works in virtuous cycles both ways. The company needs to get a move on this front ASAP especially as the election ramps and Elon’s involvement grows.

Maybe you can try to do a service to Tesla the company and run a simple poll: “Do you know anyone who won’t buy a Tesla because of Elon?”

Give the management team behind Elon an opportunity to voice their concerns without fear of being shot down. Investors will thank you for it.
