@jbullockruns I work at a large teaching hospital in downtown Chicago and we all (amongst colleagues in the RN station or residents room) refer to each other by first names. But with pts we will use respective titles. And that’s just the culture here, no one is upset
My pt crumped the other night and I quickly became incredibly busy trying to stabilize him. After it had calmed down the resident came up to me and said “sorry you’re having a shitty night” and gave me a cookie she bought for me from Starbucks
I switched to from Tandem to @myomnipod since insurance covers my pods in full. However now insurance doesn’t cover the upgrade to omnipod5. Wtf man I’m just trynna be a good lil diabete
Wanting to go back to school to be an NP or CRNA but reading all over twitter and Reddit how disrespected they are by MD’s just makes me want to leave healthcare lol
Just noticed that the IronMan suit up from 2008 and the Mjolnir armor suit up from Halo 4 and beyond, going into the paramount show as well, is incredibly similar
The other day shaniah and I went to breakfast after our shift (we work nights) and when we asked for the bill the waiter told us our bill had been paid anonymously and to tell us “thank you for our service”. It was honestly the sweetest thing.
