Mastery in one subject and teaching another subject is not a cakewalk. To overcome from such a huge challenge a social science teacher should do followings:
1. To read regular national daily newspapers,monthly magazines,books of the subjects, educational blogs etc.

Often Social Science teachers in school face a huge challenge in teaching all four subjects i .e.History, Geo. Eco.& Pol. Science and I think only a few educational leaders & administrators understand such a challenge. To excel as a teacher in social science is really a tough.
