Work continues on the Common along Park Avenue. Today our contractor was out pouring concrete for the multi use path that will loop around the Common and provide a great area to easily walk or jog. Check out the complete design plan for this project by clicking the link below.

WestSpringfield Sewer Construction Road Closure and Detour planned for a section of Piper Road on Friday 4/2/2021 between 7am-3pm southbound Traffic will be detoured down Birnie Avenue and northbound traffic will be detoured down Brush Hill Road.

Dpw Workers did another great job and have repaired the leak and water is back on to all affected homes. If your home has “rusty” colored water just run the cold bathtub faucet until it clears.

Excavation at Birnie Ave and Hemlock Hill has begun to locate and repair the leak. Water is shut off to homes on Green Meadow Lane and on Birnie Ave from 401 Birnie Ave. on the North end to Abigail Lane on the South end. Hemlock Hill Road water may also need to be shut off
