My sister has been battling cancer for the longest time, and we didn’t even know until the biopsy gave us the diagnosis.

As she lost so much weight, people stigmatized her, saying she had HIV/AIDS.

There were days when our laughs and smiles were lesser, and the crying was more. She even had to stop sewing because of the pain.

Cancer has taken a lot from Lauretta, but it hasn’t taken her smile or her strength to fight. And that’s why I’m not giving up either.

We’re grateful for how far she has come with chemotherapy and for everyone who has supported us. The side effects have been overwhelming, but she’s still fighting.

Please don’t give up on my sister. ❤️‍🩹🤲🏾
