We all knew GTA 6 would be the biggest game ever, but we didn’t know exactly what that would mean.
Every decision Rockstar makes is put under a microscope by 100 million people. It’s really quite fascinating seeing both overwhelming positivity AND negativity colliding online recently. Once in a generation type of stuff!
Regardless of what you think, stay respectful y’all! Sit back and enjoy the chaos.
8 years ago today, Rockstar revealed Red Dead Redemption 2’s first gameplay trailer.
Watching this makes me so excited for the GTA 6 Extended Look on August 27th.
You’re alone in a newsroom in the 1980s, working the night shift, and you have no clue what’s happening outside beyond what the phone calls and radio scanner are telling you. Would you take this job?

I've recently been playing Skyrim with 4000+ mods in a 600GB package and it has been an amazing experience that is somehow more stable than vanilla Skyrim.
This is "LoreRim", A fascinating modpack that it aims to remake almost every single aspect of Skyrim under an entirely new gameplay philosophy, turning Skyrim into a modern action game. A lot of you have asked me about it since my 8K bread post and while I have only about 10 hours in this modpack so far, I can tell you that the amount of things LoreRim changes about Skyrim is nothing short of unbelieveable.
The world of Skyrim is heavily changed, every city has far more detail. there are new buildings, new dungeons, new quests, new people and way more dialogue options with existing people. Even the roads themselves have been heavily redesigned to reflect each hold's asthetic, it is something you seriously need to play to understand. It still manages to feel like Skyrim but its a very different, way more dense Skyrim.
The first most obvious change you notice is the visuals. Obviously, at 600GB, you expect this mod pack to look insane and it does. I had to run this on the "Default" preset rather than the Ultra preset because it is one of the most demanding games you could possibly run, Skyrim was never built to look like this but LoreRim somehow makes it work. Every single texture looks amazing, every single person looks completely different, LoreRim keeps everything lore-friendly hence the name so don't expect super models in this modpack but there are amazing looking people. You probably have seen my 8K bread post earlier and the entire game has that quality, armor sets in particular look incredible. It really makes Skyrim look like a 2026 game while keeping the original intent of its aesthetic intact.
Gameplay in LoreRim is something I've honestly barely scratched the surface of, so far. The modpack is built around a foundational mod called "Requiem", which makes Skyrim's world unlevelled, meaning the world no longer is scaled to you throughout the game and you absolutely will get destroyed if you try going into combat without assessing things and preparing in advance. You start off extremely weak and can barely kill skeevers, and then slowly work your way up from there. XP is given by completing quests and fighting enemies, not by using skills themselves like in Vanilla Skyrim. This is a huge change that also heavily effected how I play Skyrim at its core, I prioritized doing basic tasks like deliveries, sticking to roads, helping out locals in towns without venturing out until I levelled up enough and had enough coin to get decent gear and start tackling actual combat.
Speaking of combat, it is entirely different. There is a stances system, lock-on, parrying, dodging, and completely different animations. I have been doing a stealth archer build (yeah i know lmao) and its somehow been the most fun I've had doing stealth in Skyrim maybe ever, because there is just so much more depth to each encounter and how I balance archery with the new enemy AI that takes cover or rushes bow users. There is a heavy focus on builds and replays are heavily incentivized to experiment with different builds and ideas, you cannot be a jack of all trades anymore.
Now the biggest issue with this modpack is that you do need quite a beefy PC, I have been playing this at 4K 40-60FPS on a 9070XT with a Ryzen 3600 and 16GB of DDR4 ram which is far from the ideal specs at this resolution but it works well enough for me that I can stick with it and enjoy the game. the 600GB storage requirement is insane, however you can delete the 250GB download folder once its finished installing, bringing it down to 350GB to keep on an M.2 SSD as recommended by the author. Because this is a heavily curated mod list with a ton of work put into it by the author for stability and patching, I have only experienced 1 crash so far, which is genuinely more stable than a base vanilla Skyrim for me.
I will have a lot more to say about this modpack as I continue playing it and I may even have some insights from the author himself soon in future posts so stay tuned! If you wanna download it, I highly recommend looking up a tutorial on YouTube. It is basically a one click download and install.
Sharing one cool Rockstar game fact every day until GTA 6 gameplay releases: 19 days left.
In GTA 4, There is a website for “child beauty pageants”, visiting it instantly gets you a 5 star wanted level.
This is because it is a sting website set up by the LCPD to catch predators
The Weeknd is no longer interested in retiring 🚨
“I’ll never disappear. I love this too much to ever disappear. I tested retirement a little bit, and I don’t like the way it feels. Imma be here forever with you.”
Jason Schreier explains why the anti-consumer concerns about the GTA 6 extended look being a timed exclusive on Netflix are overblown:
“6 hours is not a lot of time in the grand scheme of things. It doesn’t really hurt anybody to have a gameplay footage available on Netflix 6 hours in advance. I mean this is all marketing, it’s not like we’re talking about a video game being made only available to some subset of players. I think that anyone who complains that it’s like consumer unfriendly, hostile or bad practice to have a piece of marketing footage available on Netflix for 6 hours before it’s on YouTube, I think pick your battles man if you’re complaining about that.”
Ilia Topuria’s manager, Malki Kawa, went OFF on Ali Abdelaziz after he said Usman Nurmagomedov would make Ilia quit 😳
“Shut the f*ck up. Ilia Topuria would annihilate 100% of your roster.
If we fought Gaethje again, he would f*cking beat the sh*t out of him. We all know Ilia was better, he had a bad night.
Ilia Topuria is still the #1 fighter in the world. When the comeback comes, you will see.”
