@EzChigbo Ah ha! I would tell my sister ‘there is dignity in silence’ - she and I are very similar when we think we know what is ‘right’. Being quiet can be a form of an answer and gives the other person a chance to reflect - or not! 🙄
@ShellEnergyHome I remain deeply unhappy with service from shell energy broadband. I have not had a reply to my complaint. They deleted ALL my emails with no warning &they continued to use the same email to send me accounts! 🤬 it’s the ombudsman next. Their Xmas message NOT OKAY
@SophieJSmith3@BAMEOTUK@theRCOT@AbleOTUK@LGBTQIAOTUK ‘Nervous conditions’ and ‘the book of not’ by Tsitsi Dangarembga. Made me question everything I knew about my past and what was ‘true’. I have followed her work ever since and am so grateful for her thinking and continuing to write and speak in an oppressive regime

nicholls touching the void - Google Scholar @NoreenGiffney add to literature on play and the defensive use of objects e.g. mountains as substitute ‘others’ - includes discussion on risk as near death experience https://t.co/M0lZb4eRac
‘Hamba Kakuhle’ farewell &thank you to staff &students for time well spent. Leaving I have discovered it is not what you have done but what you never got to do that troubles. I call retirement ‘falling into time’ - I think it is like falling in love, wonderful and terrifying.
@dafrenksta@HistoryOt@jcreektv@DisruptOT@ERamugondo@isla @LecturerMish @OccScienceBae @USCChanOSOT @ottheorypraxis Thanks frank for sharing the very detail of what I ask my students to read - to consider how OT has framed the word ‘pioneer’ - and the notion of independence. Mostly it is imagining America as a continent waiting to be discovered. There is misogyny and colonialism throughout
