Today, 2nd August, we joined @Brush N Broom , a volunteer group inspired by the incredible work of Buzstopboys, to undertake a painting exercise at the Suhum Roundabout.
This initiative is a reminder that community transformation begins with ordinary people choosing to take responsibility.
Through volunteerism, we are not only restoring the beauty of our environment but also promoting cleanliness, civic pride, and a culture of shared responsibility.
Every brushstroke, every act of service, and every volunteer contributes to creating cleaner, safer, and more welcoming public spaces.
Together, we are proving that environmental beautification and sanity are everyone's responsibility.
I don't support what he said, But it's normal to dress kids half naked these days right? What are we trying to prevent and what are we teaching the kids ? Misplaced priorities ❗
“The average Ghanaian man casual statement” My mum sacked my home tutor because of this, he called me his wife in class and I told my mum. These “jokes” are not supposed to be jokes. We have normalised it . I remember what Mighty’s mum said on McBrown’s show.
ASSUMPTION DOESN'T BUILD A NATION. ENFORCEMENT AND EDUCATION DO.
National progress is NOT built on assumptions or good intentions. It is built on CONSISTENT LAW ENFORCEMENT, QUALITY EDUCATION, and ACCOUNTABLE INSTITUTIONS.
When RULES ARE ENFORCED and CITIZENS ARE EDUCATED, responsibility becomes the norm—not the exception.
SYSTEMIC CHANGE requires more than promises. It demands STRONG INSTITUTIONS, EQUAL ACCOUNTABILITY, and AN INFORMED POPULATION.
STOP ASSUMING. START ENFORCING. KEEP EDUCATING. THAT'S HOW NATIONS GROW.
THIS ISN’T JUST TRASH. THIS IS EVIDENCE.
Evidence of YEARS OF LITTERING.
Evidence of CARELESS DISPOSAL.
Evidence that EVERY BOTTLE, SACHET, AND PLASTIC BAG THROWN INTO A GUTTER DOESN’T DISAPPEAR.
IT ENDS HERE.
The shoreline at JAMES TOWN has become the final resting place for waste dumped miles away. The sea keeps returning what we refuse to deal with, reminding us that NATURE NEVER THROWS OUR TRASH AWAY.
IF WE KEEP TREATING OUR WATERWAYS LIKE DUSTBINS, OUR BEACHES WILL BECOME LANDFILLS.
THE CHANGE STARTS WITH EVERY DECISION NOT TO LITTER.
🌊 THE WATER REMEMBERS.
🌍 THE ENVIRONMENT PAYS.
♻️ THE CHOICE IS OURS.

The JAMESTOWN FISH MONGERS remind us that true service is rooted in HUMANITY.
Every fish they carefully clean and prepare reflects respect for the CONSUMER saving families time, reducing waste, and ensuring every purchase is worth it.
Their work goes beyond selling fish; it's about CARE, DIGNITY, and COMMUNITY. In the busiest markets, small acts of thoughtfulness make the biggest difference.
Here's to the hardworking fish mongers whose commitment keeps our tables full and our communities thriving. 👏🏾
This morning’s RAINFALL is another reminder that nothing changes until the mindset towards MAINTENANCE changes.
CHOKED DRAINS and neglected ROADS continue to cause FLOODING, disrupting lives and damaging INFRASTRUCTURE.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE is always better than emergency repairs. CLEAR THE DRAINS.
MAINTAIN THE ROADS. STOP THE FLOODING.
“Everything has been destroyed. If I take a gun and start robbing people, who will be blamed? 2028 will be here soon.”
— A man says after being affected by the demolition exercise carried out today by the Sub-Metropolitan Assembly and security forces at the 5 Beach area in Tema Manhean, where squatters have been living.
